
LU Music Prof. and NEH Distinguished Humanities Chair Paul Salerni is happy to share some upcoming performance dates featuring his compositions, as well as symposia/colloquia in which he will be featured as a panelist:Saturday, April 24 at 7:30 PM Streaming ($15): Allentown Symphony Orchestra New Music Series will feature Salerni's song "Golden Retrievals" (for soprano, clarinet, flute, piano) from his Bad Pets song cycle; Thursday, April 29 at 4:30 p.m.: Prof Salerni will be a featured panelist in the LU Symposium “Lehigh Research In and Beyond a Pandemic.” Moderated by Prof. Beth Dolan, Interim Dean of the College of Health, the colloquium is co-sponsored by the Office of the Vice President and the Associate provost for Research and Graduate Studies. (Pre-registration required: go.lehigh.edu/researchpanel); Saturday, May 1, 2021, Prof. Salerni will participate in a Symposium hosted by the Korean Cultural Society of Boston (details to follow); and Friday, May 14, at 7:30 pm, the Bowers Fader duo will perform Prof. Salerni's "Land" and "Apartment" from his song cycle Something Permanent on a New York Classical Guitar Society concert.
