LUVME: The Art of Song: Remembering David Del Tredici

Saturday, September 7, 7:30pm.  This season, LUVME's theme is "the song."  The ensemble's first concert features the music of David Del Tredici, the late Pulitzer Prize-winning composer, and music from his former students, including Mason Bates, Tamar Muscal, and Whitney George.  The performance is prefaced by a documentary on Del Tredici's life.  The film's director, Daniel Bellavsky, joins us to dicuss the film and answer questions.  Film at 4:30pm, concert at 7:30pm.  To purchase tickets, go the Zoellner Arts Center website at https://zoellner.cas.lehigh.edu/events-page or call the box office at 610-758-2787.
