Biography
Lisa Basara is the Business Manager of the Music Department at Lehigh University, where she supports faculty, students, and programs through thoughtful financial leadership and strategic oversight. With more than 25 years of experience in a variety of financial roles, she brings deep expertise in budgeting, operations, and fiscal management to her work in higher education.
Lisa earned her Master of Business Administration from DeSales University, further strengthening her commitment to excellence and service. In addition to her role in the Music Department, she serves as an LU Navigate Coach, mentoring and guiding students as they begin their academic journeys at Lehigh University.
Beyond her professional responsibilities, Lisa is a dedicated autism advocate and proud mother of twin boys. In her free time, Lisa enjoys expressing her creativity through art and crafts as well as cheering on her Philadelphia sports teams.
